The Centre for Ecological Sciences provides state-of-the-art laboratories for work in theoretical, molecular, landscape and ecosystem ecology. All laboratories are equipped with sophisticated instruments and state of the art computers that help students achieve their research goals. Our research on natural populations is carried out at field sites, including within and outside protected areas and in a wide variety of terrestrial and aquatic habitats across India.
