This summer marks the completion of 25 years of the Bioacoustics and Animal Communication lab headed by Prof. Rohini Balakrishnan. To commemorate the feat, the lab is happy to organize a departmental symposium on animal behaviour. The symposium is also to felicitate Prof. Raghavendra Gadagkar, one of the founding faculty of CES, whose work and writings on Animal Behaviour over four decades have inspired many generations of students and placed CES in the international spotlight. Prof. Gadagkar retires as Honorary Professor of CES this summer. Exact details on the program will be notified as we get closer to the date. Mark your calendars!
