I did my BSc. (Hons.) in Zoology from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya,
Bilaspur Chhattisgarh and joined IISc in 2012 as an Integrated PhD student
in the Division of Biological Science. After lab rotations in different
departments of Biological Science Division I joined Centre for Ecological
Sciences for my PhD. Currently I am in the fourth year of my PhD. For my
thesis dissertation I am working on the physical, chemical and behavioural
aspects of mound construction by termites.
I am also a recipient of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Fellowship from the
Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India.
