I am interested at looking at how large herbivores , who happen to be also the major vegetation consumers of a forest like that in a Tropical deciduous forest, give back to their habitat in terms of nutrients. We are looking at various soil macro and micro fauna who play an essential role in returning the nutrients from herbivore dung to the forest soil. I am also interested at understanding the functional importance of these various invertebrates in cycling of nutrients.
