Abstract:
Rohan Chakravarty (of Green Humour fame, http://www.greenhumour.com/) is
giving a talk at NCBS on Art and Wildlife, and the use of art in conservation.
In the coming weeks, Rohan also has an exhibition of wildlife cartoons from 13-26 Sept: *Wildlife the Toonie
Way*.

Speaker Bio:
Rohan is a cartoonist, illustrator and animation designer from Nagpur. He gave up a career in dentistry after an encounter with a tigress bathing in a Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary waterhole, following which he dedicated himself to drawing for wildlife and conservation. Apart from Green Humour, he has been involved with several other publications and organizations such as WWF, IDFC, Standard Chartered Bank, Titan, Istock and has served as an animation designer and illustrator for a Bangalore-based multimedia firm. He has won several awards for Green Humour. Besides, Rohan stood 2nd in UMO's 6th International Cartoon Contest and The Time's of India's national level cartoon contest, 'A Day in the Life of India'.
