Second Annual DST-SERB sponsored School on Chemical Ecology

The Centre for Ecological Sciences at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, will conduct the second annual DST-SERB sponsored School on Chemical Ecology, an intensive two-week-long course to provide an insight into state-of-the-art research areas of Chemical Ecology, with a special emphasis on research on animal venoms and poisons, and plant–animal interactions. Twenty-five young researchers, including masters students, PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and young faculty members, will be selected at the national level. The School aims to provide an interdisciplinary research environment to build scientific human resource with sound conceptual knowledge and excellent technical base for teaching and research, and to strengthen and nurture the research programs in Chemical Ecology in the country. The School would offer the selected young researchers with an excellent platform to learn directly from the leading experts in the field of Chemical Ecology.
