I have a background in biotechnology (Bachelors) and marine biology (Masters). I am currently working on mixed species foraging behaviour in Reef fish, in the Lakshadweep Islands. My work primarily revolves around understanding the causation and patterns observed in grouping and foraging behaviour.

Why did I choose to become an ecologist? It wasn’t a choice really, I’ve always been passionate about research and the marine ecosystem is an interesting and relatively unexplored frontier. Ultimately, my love of fish in the sea is seconded only by my love of fish on a plate.
